this is nice. this has a great glow to it, a great creaminess to the skintone. It hurts my neck to look into your eyes, but I must say its interesting.
Very appealing, sweet and friendly like a a happy face peeking at me through the screen. Good tonal values and great focus. However, it is the expression that rises to the top. Bumping up.
i don't know anything about portraiture, so i'm using your image as a guinnea pig as to what i think i would or wouldn't do in this situation, as well as what i notice and get out of your image.
this is a nice effort, but i think it needs a bit more contrast. the focus is sharp on the eyes, but the lighting is washing out the tonalities and character in the skin. the expression and composition is great. i wonder what the impace would be to have a dark background? good luck!
