 Canon 50mm 1.8 MkII

Doubt many will get this one. Semi-topical for valentines day. The desaturated leaves hint at a love gone bad, the drip of blood to show that love can cause pain as well as joy. Probably too deep for the usual DPC crowd, maybe I should stick to puppies and drops of water!

I'm afraid I just see red when people try to equate blood with pain. Nice strong lighting.

I like the idea, but the image is too dark to make the blood stand out well. Also doesn't look like real blood to me.

Cool idea! I had a hard time making out the blood at first glance. Perhaps placing the flower in a pool of blood would emphasize it more?

Wonder why ppl use catchup! Why not using chicken blood or whatever, from eatable stuff. It adds a more natural look to it at least!
