Got an old boot and sprayed it and the background the same red/pink colour. The background was a cardboard box.
Then placed one of my wife's shoes on top.
PS work:
removed the splotches and obviouse corner on the background to provide a smoother look.
Changed the brightness
Changed the hue of the red
spot editted out some staines on the top shoe
brightened up some of the highlights on the old boot

I gave it a 10. good DOF, original - Surprised there were not more 10's. Also like the backgraound it's pink -but with a muddy tinge - for lack of a better discription. Goes with the running shoe.
