Nice DOF, selection of b&w, and focus. The topic is appropriate for the challenge; some DPC'ers may vote you down for the politicallness of your theme. I really liked it. Good job.
This is a great picture. Unlike all the other graveyard pictures, you didn't ruin it by putting people in it. Death speaks for itself. Arlington always lends itself to spooky/painful pictures. Well captured. But I would have liked to see only one edge lacking vanishing points in this picture instead of two.
Nothings worse than losing somebody close, and in wartime (btw war begins only by the most stupid people in history) you could lose everybody close to you and thats even worse
It is intresting to see that you have a swedish name first. However I must say, I believe that it is other perspectives that would have made this shot mush better.
Wow seeing this one really gave me that feeling.. The feeling of that each one of these stones is one person leaving maybe tens, maybe hundreds behind that really cared for him or her. And i truly believe they did die for a reason, for us, so that we could be free to be who we are. Powerful photo, good lighting, awesome angle.
a lower perspective on this shot would of added heaps. Or maybe a larger aperature on your camera so the foreground was sharp, but blurring out the gravestones in the background. Just a though, good 6
