Great portrait. Not wearing what one would usually associate with this position. His unruly beard adds enough interest to make this a fascinating study. 7

Oh wow! definitiely getting a 10 from me. Interesting subject, and colors. Dof and shadows are fantastic. Love it. One of my favorites thus far.

I think his blue eyes sets off the pink perfectly. 8

The detail is outstanding. Some may argue that fuscia or magenta is not quite pink, but hey, I can detect pink in the highlights of the cloth. Bumping up from 6 to 7Message edited by author 2005-02-14 09:48:22.

Superb character shot. Shame about the distracting hand(?) below the beard.
Post actions
this looks too dark and desaturated

outstanding portrait. his eyes are piercing and his wiry beard contrasts nicely with the soft fabric around his head. my favorite in the challenge! 10

Wonderful contrast. Powerful photo, despite the pink robe, the interesting beard still the eyes draw the most attention imho. Great.

I like this shot a lot, it stands out so much from the other entries! Very good portrait, IMO. Could do with a little bit more DOF maybe...9

The eye contact makes me want to keep looking. Excellent!
Post actions
Very powerful image. Great lighting, dynamic eyes. However the head wear seems a little off as far as the color pink, seems more of a purple hue. Wonderful execution. 8
