Found an old vase thing lying around. Took a fairly long exposure with it sitting on the dining room table lit from inside by a torch, a lighter and then a small reading light one after the other. Took about 20 different shots and finally settled on this one.
Rotated 180 degrees, hue/saturated a fair bit and upped the contrast, that's about it.
No idea how this will do but I'm hoping to get in the top 30% or so.

great light for sure. i feel like the impact of this photo could have been helped a lot by a tighter crop, though- seems like there's too much of the thing showing. composition is a bit weak, which i think could have been fixed by a substantially closer crop.
