Took last minute on swansea-bay... on a lazy sunday afternoon! Used my cokin P2 filter to darken down the sky. I'm a bit ticked off i've got the zig-zags on the reeds, but nevermind!

Wow. The tone range in this is sublime!!! Sharpness and the faitly monotone in such a brilliant colour are great too but I feel it'x the emotive composition which makes this photo the gem that it is. Added to my faves.

I've had the biggest cheesy grin on my face the last 24hours! I am so chuffed with my first ribbon (thinking about printing one out and sticking it to my chest...), and to get so many kind words especially from so my people whose work I really admire. I really didnt think I'd do this well! This year my 2 goals were:
1) get a photo in the 7's
2) get a ribbon
So I'm thinking of retiring now!

This picture is fantastic,it shows how beautiful Swansea is ! I really find it great.Congrats on a well deserved ribbon , I hope(and think) you will get many others
The grad filter looks a little strong but it helps create the monochromatic feel to the image. I like the framing of the couple and the kiss of light on the side of their heads.
This is a beautiful sky. The light is great. The composition is a little off IMO. The OOF grass blades in the foreground are distracting, and the couple is perhaps a bit too centered. Still one of my top picks.
The colors are phenomenal, composition is really nice, great photo for this challenge. Overall I think it's wonderful, it should definitely place highly :)
I originally voted this a 9...but as I look at all the other entries in this challenge I am coming back and bumping it up to a 10. I think it is beautiful. The colors are excellent and I can just feel the romance!
Not that it's a bad thing, but the lighting and the reflection make this almost look like a painted backdrop like in a movie. Looks like a great place ... easy to imagine being there.
