It was overcast, cold, windy and rainy. Tornado and flash flood warnings were posted. But I had driven about two hours to get there so I was going to take some pictures. I saw snow geese and tundra swans but too far away to shoot. A raccoon was practically posing when first spotted but ran away as soon as I slowed the car. Finally, when I was on my way out, I saw this Great Blue Heron all hunkered down. This was my best shot of the day.
