The DPC members have elevated Heida to the enviable apex of favorites. Her talent is amazing and so are her stats. maintaining an overwhelming 6.4 aberage vote received. Ribbons upon ribbons and most attractive is the flow of her unique work which never fails to titillate the viewers. This another example of elastic tones represented in b/w. Congratulations again, your presence here is indeed an inspiration.
Jám til hamingju með þetta en eins og einhver þarna spurði, er þessi himinn bara gerður með Photoshop eða ertu að nota einhverja filtera framan á linsunni?
Nice Photo, if you dont mind what was you you camera setup and modifications to the photo. Maybe a red filter and a polarizer? Just guessing, anyway. Great contrast in the sky... Love this Photo....
Oh!
I must say I am very surprised!
I really didnt expect to get a ribbon with this score in this challenge!
I didnt even know this challenge had ended!
Thanks guys :D
Congrats on the blue... This is really a great picture, but then again this kind of picture could only come from a great photographer... Its a well diserved ribbon, The choice of B&w was a good one. Very nice capture.
Your choice of b/w makes this image look cooler, so the title is a bit undermined. But I don't really caremuch. The clarity and composition are very nice, and the tones just splendid. 9
wow! what an excellent, excellent image. you have done a fantastic job here, one that no score on dpc will ever do justice. i hope this does well for you, and i hope that you have this hanging large somewhere prominent so that it can be appreciated! good luck with the challenge!
Extraordinary conversion to B/W (Heida level). Perhaps an overdone theme...'offcentred person being thoughtful in the face of nature'..but who can complain when it's as good as this?
It probably looks great in colors. Why putting all this Blue in B&W?
I also wish we could have some space infront of her, as if to see where she is looking...
If ever an image was made for black and white this was it! Stunning. I love how the dark tone of that beach contrasts with the ocean. The girl provides a nice compositional element, unlike some images of this type her inclusion doesn't appear forced at all. Well done. 9.
Wonderful, wha to say thos os perfect, i really love the mood on this one.
Great position of the model, good use of the rule of thirds, good choice on the B&W. great job.
Lovely image. Somehow her pose could have been more relaxed BUT I love the picture anyway. Good tonal range (burning in works here).
Excellent composition.
Excellent photo. Most would have placed her to the left so there was more of the frame off to the right in the direction she is looking but I don't think it hurts it too badly. I like the way the light and dark patches in her dress blend perfectly with those in the surf. I would love to have seen what an 8x10 view camera would have done to this photo. Nice job.
Very good B&W. It is a very good photo (composition, light, tone etc), but the clouds almost draw the attention away from the girl. It is hard for the eye to find rest. I had already given it a 10 for all other aspects and I'm not going to change that. :)
