This is perhaps not my "best", but it is definitely one of my favorites from 2004. I just really like the texture of these daisies, once all the colour is taken away.

Those are great flowers - Im sure they are beautiful in colour, but in black and white they look positively deathly, which creates a terrific mood. Not often that a flower shot is anything but pretty, but you've gone above and beyond with this one. 8.
Hmmm, my honest first opinion was "I don't like it", but after a minute or so it kind of rubs off. I do like is the way the flowers seem to jump out off the background (I guess that is the DOF), and the b&w almost make the flowers look like there made out of metal. Like if you were to touch them they would be cold and hard instead of soft and flexible. Conflicting emotions kind of. I gave this an 8.
