I think this picture turned out great, it looks like a painting. And it won best of show in the 2004 amador county fair.
I really hope you like it.
I originaly did this shot after seeing a photo from another photographer on this site called "fantasia". Although I still dont know how he got his picture to turn out so wonderful, far better than mine, I had to learn that techneque. After all isnt that what this site is all about? Learning and sharing.

what an interesting image you have produced. i am going to have to try this myself. i hope it is getting the attention it deserves, and not getting overlooked in this monster-size challenge. good luck with this and the challenges yet to come!
The tulip looks as if its about to melt. The lighting is good. I especially like the swirls. Wish I could see a bit more detail around the edges though.
I have no idea what that is, a capsicum (pepper) perhaps ??????? Ahhh, thanks to my new monitor I can see that this is a flower of some description - the comment below still stands - good work.
Whatever the case you've used the painting with light technique to great effect. 9.
This is just too cool. Not only did you do an outstanding job with the light painting and composition, but the colors of the tulip are so bright and rich. Really great photo!
