you know, i think it is damn near impossible to take a bad picture in the islands. this is beautiful, and really where i (and 90% of the people in the northeast usa) would rather be right now! good luck with this and the challenges yet to come!
I like this a lot. Here's why: on first glance, it's a seems to be a peaceful, idyllic scene. However. On closer scrutiny, there are no signs of life. Absent are human inhabitants. Just empty boats and shoreline. Spooky, but nice!
Wow, what a scene. You are a lucky person. Really like the boats here. They complete the image. Its a shame the palm is in such bedraggled condition here, but it was a nice idea to use it to frame the image. 7.
Less of the foreground would have helped this pic. Maybe to move to the right and put the palm more in the corner.....or shifted your focus - awesome sunject - wish i were there right now - it is 25 degrees here in ohio with a 15 degree windchill!
