The night the Red Sox broke the curse of the Bambino and clinched the World Series, an equally amazing sight was offered under crisp, clear skies in northern Vermont. I took these photos at an average of fifteen minutes apart, from full moon to full eclipse. The deep copper hue of the fully eclipsed moon took four seconds to expose and is a result of sunlight refracted through earth's dusty atmosphere.
I have two versions here, one an oval of ten exposures with bright red text, the other an array of twelve exposures, no text.
