1944, Ingrid Bergman, Charles Boyer, Joseph Cotton, Dame May Whitty, Angela Lansbury (her film debut) directed by George Cukor. One of my favorites. I did not know it was a remake of a 1940 British film of the same title. The British film is supposed to be better and MGM tried to destroy all the prints when it made theirs.
