Shot in Oct for Halloween, set levels, cropped, and cloned out some minor Imperfections on the pumpkin. I spent a lot time playing with the artistic filters in Photoshop, but felt the the un-filtered image was best.

what a wild composition! this is great! this is one thumbnail that would be hard to lose in the shuffle. hope you are getting good feedback on this! good luck here, and in the challenges to come!
Interesting shot, but nothing to make it stand out from the crowd of pumkin shots - is it big? maybe womething to show how big? The color seems washed out or over exposed. Perhaps that could be fixed with some post processing?
Simple and classical, but I don't feel much creativity in it. The composition is not bad, though, I would have cropped a bit on the top and right side to follow the rule of thirds. I like the sharpness of the main subject.
Nice work. Vibrant colors and engaging point of view. It might help to have moved the camera to the left just an inch or so so that it would be more balanced, but still a lovely photo. 7
I think this would make for a nice calender shot but not something I would have on a wall. Excellent color and clarity and well centered. Good job and keep up the good work in 2005.
Like the fact that your zoomed in and cropped the image as you did. Would have liked a little tweaking to bring out the colour of the pumpkin. In for some tough competition. Good luck.
Deceptively lovely image. Compsitionally flawless, may lack the wow factor for others but I place it right at the top. I'm a sucker for the well-seen detail.
