An interesting subject. It looks very difficult to illuminate to catch all the nuances. I hope you continue to try to capture the elusive delicacy of it. The harsh light under the plate distracts, I'd suggest a tighter crop there. Shoot this in natural light, it cries for another shoot.

A shot of strictly Other Peoples Art, and you really don't do anything to enhance the shot. Why is this a good photograph? What does it make us feel? It would be a good shot for a book on this type of subject.
