This is my friend Eric Ward, he works with me in the Navy
I adjusted levels, blurred the background, lightened highlights in the eyes, added some film grain and a frame.

eric & i should go out for a commiserative drink. so disappointed
that the voters can't see the stylish arty shot here.
love the distortion, the cart, simply everything.
what a fun shot! this is great, and i hope it is not getting overlooked in this huge challenge. you have really captured a personality here. i wouldn't be surprised to find this guy with a grin, saying, 'hey, watch this...' thanks for sharing! good luck here, and in the challenges yet to come!
I really like this and it really stands out in the thumbnails. I think you captured his personality well and you just get this feeling like you know this quy. 9... minus 1 for the cart. I probably would have tried to blur it a little more.
While I like the clarity and framing, I feel like I'm looking through a peephole at him. Lens distortion? Could be purposeful, but if so I feel the title could better enhance the idea. If accidental, a different lens perhaps?
Interesting perspective on this one, the B&W works well. Maybe a little distracted by the reflections in the right eye, but short of being the grand master of the clone tool, there's not much you can do about that :).
