U.S. Navy Sea Hawk overshadowed by a massive fireball from a nearby explosion.
I adjusted the levels and then adjusted the blacks, whites, neutrals and reds using selective color. I also cloned out a communication antenna that was a little distracting. I wanted to take out the truck on the right and a couple of the soldiers but I didn’t want test the limits of the new editing rules.

I've had to come back and study this shot a few times to really appreciate it.

The coolness factor of this shot earns it at least a 6 in my book. Suggestions... May have been better with the bottom halves of the people in the picture.
This is just terrific! It takes a cool head and a remarkable eye to see this, in what I assume were emotional circumstances. And it is very well executed as well. 8.
