Nice shot. I with there was a little more of the picture in focus....either more of the dart or maybe from the bullseye to the left of the frame would have been more visually appealing.
This shot is just so about the moment of impact that it almost CONTAINS kinetic energy! I love the way the lighting and DOF both focus attention onto the bull's eye and dart tip whilst the colours and shapes of the rest of the image convey the rest of the board. Nice tight composition too and great colours. Definitely high impact!
The short definition of Bokeh from KenRockwell.com, which I am using for voting on this challenge: "Bokeh describes the rendition of out-of-focus points of light." We're seeing a lot of that here, noth front and back. Is the subject enhanced by the bokeh of the background? Somewhat. I'm not grabbed by this photo, however- I can't tell what the subject is. I have nothing to relate to.
