Had a feeling this was the north shore.. i've become intimate with the area this past year .. lovely shot.. the colours are awesome and well I happen to have a soft spot for surfers so any shots of them I personally pretty much always adore ;)
this is a nice image, and there's not a single thing i could suggest to change it. i hope you are getting some good comments, and not getting overlooked in this super-sized challenge. good luck with this, and the challenges yet to come!
Nice simple shot. Technically spot on. Doesn't quite jump out at me, but there is little to fault about this one. I think you have chosen just the right proportions of sand, sky and ocean to include here.
Lovely bands of color! I like this very much and think it is aptly titled. Only quibble I'll make is with the positioning of the foam--it disects the head of your subject. Perhaps if you'd taken another frame a second or so later....
