Another photo named after a Cure song :) I know this won't do well, what with its generic themes, but I love it, and I wanted to choose something that I hadn't already posted. I know there will be some awesome photojournalistic type shots, and those will probably win out, but I wanted to steer clear of emotion this time. 2004 was too full of it for me, and I'm ready to leave that behind.
And yes, I know it's too dark and oversharpened. I *made* it dark. I also like the slight grain. I just wish I'd had the guts to enter an abstract :)
Editing: Dodging, burning, levels, curves, layer adjustments, blurring and fading, sharpening, and colour editing. Resized, cropped, border.

Great colours and the sea is suitably dark to get a certain mood to this picture.
One or two niggles though.... on the left side of the picture on the horizon, there seems to be some blue that has spilled on to the sea or something....
Looks like part of that movie sudden impact. Beautiful shot. Excellent colors and clarity altho I'm not fussy on the border. It's also nice to see that its level or a level "landscape" shot if you will. So many in this challenge aren't level and I find that extremely annoying. well done and keep up the good work in 2005.
