The Great Italian Skylight Hall in the Winter Palace (Hermitage), St. Petersburg.
A wonderful room, with wonderful paintings. On the right of the door on the right for example hangs 'Antonia Zarate' by Francisco Goya.
At this moment my favorite Hermitage painting is 'Princess Zinaida Yusupova' by Francois Flameng (sitting in chair with pink dress and great perl). Princess Yusupova is a beautiful woman and on this particular painting she just glows and sparkles. The artist did a magnificent job. I recently saw it in the Amsterdam office of the Hermitage so at the moment it is on tour.
