This reminds me more of Heidi than Little House on the Prairie.

The meadow with house, the mountain and the sky give a nice layered effect.

I don't like the blue background.
It looks un-natural, as if it was another picture projecting in the back.
I like the vivid colors of the grass and the house and the cows. But I would try to get the mountains and the sky in the background to be less blue and a bit closer in their colors to the foreground.
