I have been growing this miniature orchid beauty for 18 years now. The flowers were just opening and I wanted to wait a few more days for them to take on a richer and deeper color, but I only had one day to shoot this week - Thursday :(

would be nicer if the bush was more in focus as thats where the lines lead us.. also, while there are lines leading to the subject, the vertical lines of the fence are pretty powerful as well and sort of take some power from the leading lines in the process... great composition for a shot though... good color and lighting
You did a good job of meeting the challenge. I like the red tones in the picture. I would like the flowers to be a bit more in focus though. Good job and good luck.
Great use of the challenge. Love the warm colors, composition and the lines truly lead to the focal point. I might have chosen a tighter crop in the upper left, and a little less exposure on the flowers, but I'm sure your entry is doing better than mine!! 8
