This is my wife's rubber ducky sitting in Shubie Canal near where I live shot with my Canon 300mm f4 L.
I got the rubber ducky to stay in place by taping some clear thread to its underside and taping the other end to a small stone. My original plan was to include real ducks in the photo, but I found that closeups of the ducky by itself made for better photos. I really like the effect of the water. The effect is natural and was not caused by overuse of Neat Image.
I corrected colour as well as brightness and contrast using a curves layer. I actually toned down the yellow and orange quite a bit after colour correction with a hue/saturation layer. Very light use of Neat Image to remove slight grain on ducky and sharpened just a tad with USM.
