Remains of my breakfast (the egg shell), with a halogen desk light behind it and a red reflected bulb to the right. Tweaked the colours a bit (boosted the yellow) and cropped most of the picture (not sure on the cropping)
And yes I know the red illumination isn't in line with the main light (I was a bit limited on things to hold the lamp with)

There's something here I can't quite put my finger on that I don't like: great idea, and well executed; clever, the composition is excellent, especially the wide framing of the shot. Maybe I'm just not a fan of such contrived shots? Still giving you an 8 though.
On reviewing things: I now think the sun/light is too central to the composition (this is what was bugging me). And there's a lack of detail on the surface? It seems not quite in focus ... 7 now :-(
