I'm fairly confident that an escalator uses electricity for its motion, which goes against the challenge... the reflections are interesting but the subject seems inappropriate.

Great picture. Appartently it's out of order today. I know there are mechanics involved, but certainly electronics powers it. I like the reflection in the sides.

Excellent shot, very well thought out, lighting is very good. Love the way your eye is drawn into the photo, to the bottom of the escalator. Very good eye on this one.
