Even without glancing at her portfolio, I knew what my tribute to Beata should look like:
Beata’s passion for selfies was incredibly infectious. She had even started a side challenge—one that, for some reason (whether due to a lack of time or inspiration), I never actually joined; something I deeply regret today.
When Beata took selfies, she wasn’t afraid to pull funny faces or try out unflattering poses—she always did so with a wink and a palpable sense of humor.
So, I decided right away: I would take a series of selfies, too, and share them with you. Unfortunately, I don’t have those warm, big, beautiful eyes that Beata had—but I’m sure you get what I mean; at least, I hope so.
