 This was not a typical Beata creation. I respect her photographic ability and willingness to experiment outside her "box". The fact that she appealed to so many even outside her normal genre is a testament to her talent as a photographer.

An aside to why I chose this picture as my entry. About 35 years ago my sons and I would play baseball in our backyard. I had a bucket of balls that I would pitch to them and they would hit. A few months ago I was walking around the back of the yard which is lined with trees and I saw this ball from when we used to play almost totally buried in the dirt. I pried it out and normally would have thrown it away but the memories came rushing in and I decided to keep it. I'm sure the cut on the side of the ball is from my dog "Zack" who used to chase the balls and sometimes chew them up!
