 Taking a massive swing here. I often photograph events but rarely think of posting any of those to DPC. However in the spirit of this Out of the box voting theme I figured I might see what a funny picture of a beautiful woman might do with the voters. She's a known figure in Iceland, and of course she has her phone recording as she's finishing a trail running marathon where the runners were sprayed with water from a fire truck right before the finish line.

A good example of where a title makes just the right interpretive nudge to bump an image for me. I honestly didn't notice she was self-shooting with her phone until your title invited me to linger and discover. Of course, it already had my attention as a superb piece of sports photography, too...

I was one of your 10s. You caught a genuine moment here. Well done. The background fits the image so well. The random arm is a distraction, but real sports photography always has something into the photo that other type of photography just clone out.

I thought it was a fun image, I don’t like selfies personally but I gave this an eight.
