Taken after trying to take photos of the moon itself, I figured this might be more interesting.
The orange glow above the horizon is Christchuch City, about 60km from home. The lights about 2/3rds along the horizon are one of the hill suburbs above the city.
The clouds are showing motion blur, and in the full-sized image you can see tiny star-tracks for a couple of bright stars. :-).
Used the 50mm F/1.8. Amazingly well controlled flare for a 15s exposure of a sunlit ball of rock..
