Wes the young boy and Toby the dog belong to a friend of mine who lives in Sydney. We catch up once or twice a year, sometimes more depending on what’s happening in and around our vast country. This time we are in Robe South Australia. Last year when we caught up he was still a little bub, with no hair and not even walking. He loves fishing with his dad. This was a candid of him between a photo shoot at the beach.
I was going to enter this into the curiosity challenge, but I ran out of time as I was on the road.

Congratulations, All your images are amazing but you have a knack for photographing children. This image is an artistic and special portrait of this child. Beautiful work!
Your brand of lifestyle photography always exudes that rare combination of authentic personality and timeless sentimental charm. This would be one of the better of those I've seen recently from you in that regard, but I'm sure it will be far from the last.
Yep, the rolled up pants is the perfect touch. I never wondered for a second what they were looking at - maybe nothing. Point is, they were looking FOR something and that was unmistakable :) My 10 - but 3rd is a very nice finish, too. Congratulations.
Maybe the water beneath the jetty was not clear enough. Thanks for the 10 :)
