I photographed my wife’s sister and her boyfriend in a quiet family setting, at a time when they are expecting their first baby later this year. My goal for this “Bokeh” entry was to use selective focus in a narrative way, letting sharpness carry emotional weight while the surrounding softness reinforced a sense of intimacy and anticipation. I lit the scene with natural window light and a flash bounced off the ceiling to maintain a clean, gentle, and natural atmosphere.
