In Austin the annual Polar Plunge is a popular New Year's Day activity in a massive outdoor swimming pool filled entirely by natural springs. Quite fun. I'm enjoying the "sharks".
This reminds me of some of my favorite images from my research into Martin Parr for an earlier challenge this year. Excellent street photography that highlights the mundane "weirdness" of everyday life without poking fun at it even in the slightest.
