I know this "hobby" is connected to my photography - though I tried not to emphasize that - but writing postcards to friends and family is honestly the only pastime other than photography that I have. I send about 40 cards a month, many of them to kids. Some of the cards shown here are not from but to me - from those kids, laboriously and lovingly written and eagerly dropped in the mail so that I, too, can get "something other than junk mail and bills" in my box.
