An antique cash register the owners of our store bought at an auction. It was restored to its shiny turn-of-the-century glory and occupies a corner in the back office of our retail store. I've often thought about trying to photograph it, but until this challenge I never really had a compelling reason.
The title is more than descriptive for me. We're in the midst of upgrading and transitioning to a new POS system across our stores, and I'm the project manager. It's a nightmare headache for me, and sometimes when I look at this thing, I long for the analog days when cloud technology and integrated accounting weren't even imaginable.
