Camas is a small town across the Columbia River from Portland, OR. Formely dominated by a paper mill, the downtown was revitalized with small shops, trees, hanging baskets, and a friendly atmosphere. About a dozen bronze sculptures were placed at various locations around the central streets. When I came out of a shop, I immediately saw this picture waiting to be made. I asked permission, dropped to dog-eye level, and made the image. I texted a copy to him. Richard, a very nice fellow, says his Portuguese Water Dog loves swimming.
