I thought this looked a lot like an Erin piece, but it had been a while since I'd seen you submitting so I wasn't sure. I always admire your portraiture, and this was pretty high in the pack for my vote. I'm curious whether I was unique in this, but my eye kept treating this a little like an optical illusion. Somehow the subject looks almost miniature in relation to the context. That must be a very interesting bridge to visit in person.

Nice portrait for sure, but this doesn't seem like a good fit for the challenge. The impact of the bridge lines are beyond the subject and incidental IMO.
