This is not an image I would normally pine for. The light just happened to be right. And the phone camera wide enough to capture the bird.
And no, the Oculus was built in alignment with the sun's solar angles each year on September 11, from 8:46 am, when the first plane struck, until 10:28 am, when the second tower collapsed. But it is not in the exact place where the Twin Towers went down.

Oculus, the peace dove! I think this building is one of the most beautiful and interesting pieces of architecture in Manhattan. You photographed it in a very beautiful way by surrounding it in the community of the taller buildings but enough room for it to spread its wings.
