The View of NYC is taken from the Met Museum terrace on a day that reminded me of El Greco's View of Toledo.
Fortunately I could just get down to the 2nd floor to see the original painting that was ensconced in my memory.

i don't know if this is legal in the parochial world of dpc but I do like the juxtaposition. it's like a meditation on the difference between art and photography.
