I typically do not do well on still life challenges. I appreciate a good still life, but the category remains a bit of a mystery to me. For this one, I recruited the help of my wife. She's spent her career as an interior designer, so she has a better eye for this type of thing. We spent longer than I had expected curating artifacts from around the house.
These shelves are in my great grandfather's roll top desk, and I used them one other time about 6 years ago when we had a new puppy.

This is a great image! I love the green in the background as it is very pleasing to look at and the glass of wine freshens and brings the objects on the shelves to life. Congratulations!
Love how you made use of the two levels to give a great composition. Somehow that crazy wallpaper works as well! Not sure if you could remove the white sticker on the wine bottle, as it is a slight distraction.
