Cute idea. Actually tells a funny story. Perhaps more impact if just a backdrop and a table, rather than also having the front side of the table showing as well.
Those pears exhibit quite a bit of personality. I like the way they lean towards the shrivelled old carrot and the conspiritorial heads-together of two of them.
I love this photo. It's a standout in the challenge for me. The personification of the subjects registers crystal clear for me--though I do think this communicates without the tongue-in-cheek title.
