Congrats - this is a really very well choosen detail!
Like Bob I like the left part better but it only works together with the dark half, otherwise there wouldn't be that tension
Great image. I like how it is composed as a "close-up" showing all the wavy lines in just part of the building. Perhaps have the left side take up more of the frame as it is the more interesting side. Or even do a 50/50 and see if you like that better.
