Inspired by Gordon who did something similar a year or two ago. The only way to make Xmas decorations look classy is to blur them beyond all recognition ; )
Shot with a 12mm extender to get everything out of focus, and a Lensbaby to funk things up even more.
Run through NI to get rid of a frightening amount of noise, a bunch of spot editing to get rid of black specks, and Velvia Vision to boost contrast and, as usual, crank up the saturation.
Oh, and the subject is my Christmas tree, though I swear if you drink enough the shot looks like Santa!
