i had another photo which i was going to enter .. of a noisy miner diving into the birdbath with a reflection of its face in the water ..
was so excited when I saw it on the camera .. but on the computer i realized some of the bird was oof ..
so i entered the crimson rosella instead which i feel isnt a great photo .. but the challenge is feathers and this bird has pretty awesome feathers .. :)

This challenges was one with so many images worthy of the blue, everyone was out with their best feathers.
Well composed and nice and sharp. The subject is nicely framed by the greenery as well as the obvious branches. Great use of DOF. The tail feather needs a little more room as it merges with the bottom edge.
