I absolutely love Eric Limon's shot from the Wacky Foods challenge. Well, I don't have nearly the set-up that he has and I waited until nighttime to shoot this, so the lighting wasn't great. Still, this one was better than the flash versions, which were a bit harsh. About 150 shots later (I was shooting myself, so it took more than a few rounds of "shoot, shoot, shoot - check to see if i got the frame right" etc) Added my little brand of humor with the blue ribbon and voila ...

Nice idea, the implementation lacks the perfection of the original. You probably colored over the background, and it shows. By the way, why with this dull brownish color? Also, forgot to colorize the pink spot in the top of the picture.
Nice idea. I think it needs the high contrast feel of the original, and the massive sense of detail in that shot to really make the impact. This ishowever plainly a tribute, and reasonably effective - it's just that background colour which doesn't have the stylish impact of the original.
lol, i was going to do this... my biggest complaints w/ this photo would be the grain, and the color cast but other than that youve managed to invoke the feeling of the original.
