I have passed this farm hundreds of times over the years and taken pictures of it at different times of the year. We had a sleet and ice weather event last night and as I passed the farm on the way to another destination I noticed the ice crusted grass and trees and the frozen pond in front of the farmhouse giving this pastoral scene an entirely different appearance than I had ever witnessed before. The overcast sky helped to emphasize the mood perfectly for this week's challenge.
