Doesn't quite have the same color saturation. A shame, because I really like this a lot. You could have easily matched Dan's colors with a quick levels/hue/saturation modification in Photoshop, after cleaning up the image a bit with a noise removal tool (which you may not have access to, so I won't hold that against ya).

I like dark blue background it makes it more like sky... and like the light source you used.

Very nice composition and dof in this shot. To me the light on the flower seems a little flat. Good shot though.
