My nephews invited me to join them on a trip to Japan. I was delighted to accept! We picked a perfect time - the color of the leaves was gorgeous and the gardens are just breathtaking!

much to like. the subtle patterns of leaves on the pebbled steps is a wonderful lead-in to that generous handful of tree limbs and leaf soup. very you. very Japan. (who knew?)
