Believe it or not, the colors are pretty close to what the camera rendered. This isn't one of my whack jobs. I added an orange overlay to the sea in the foreground because it was a flat, lackluster dark blue/gray, and I added a slight darkening gradient over the sky at the top. No HDR was used :-)

I wandered back to our cabin, went out onto the balcony, and saw this start to develop. I called Robert out to the balcony to enjoy it. At least, that's my story and I'm sticking to it!
